(Baonghean.vn) -Towards the 110th anniversary of the birth of comrade Le Hong Phong (September 6, 1902 - September 6, 2012), this morning in Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized the launching ceremony of the contest "Learning about the life and career of comrade Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai".

Le Hong Phong was a staunch communist soldier, an outstanding leader of the Party, a shining example of revolutionary spirit. Forty years old, twenty years of continuous and vibrant revolutionary activities, his name is associated with the history of the indomitable revolutionary struggle of our Party and People from the late 1920s to the early 1940s of the 20th century. The great contributions and noble sacrifices of his comrade, his life partner Nguyen Thi Minh Khai were the great contributions of a typical revolutionary family in the history of the Vietnamese revolution before the August Revolution of 1945.

The contest to learn about the life and career of comrade Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai was organized by the Provincial Party Committee in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union in 2 forms: multiple choice test and written test. The multiple choice test is deployed weekly on the Internet system through the Nghe An Youth electronic news website:forecastnghean.vn; Each week there are 11 prizes with a total value of 5.4 million VND.

As for the writing contest, it will be in essay format with content revolving around the life and revolutionary career of comrade Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. The organizing committee will award the writing contest prize on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of General Secretary Le Hong Phong's birth, with a total prize value of nearly 50 million VND.

The contest shows the gratitude and respect of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people for the patriotic leader Le Hong Phong and his wife - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, who is also a loyal revolutionary soldier of the Party.
