Launching the "Understanding New Legal Documents" competition in 2024.
On the afternoon of August 15th, in Vinh City, the People's Committee of Nghe An province launched the online competition "Understanding New Legal Documents" for 2024. The launch ceremony attracted more than 300 delegates from various units across the province.
Attending the launching ceremony were: Mr. Le Ve Quoc - Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education, Ministry of Justice; and Mr. Phan Hong Nguyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education, Ministry of Justice.

With the aim of ensuring the right to access the law, while contributing to raising people's awareness and understanding of the Party's guidelines and the State's laws, creating social consensus and strengthening the responsibility of agencies, organizations, and individuals in implementing the laws.
The People's Committee of Nghe An province has decided to organizecompetition"Understanding New Legal Documents" in 2024 will be conducted through an online quiz. The competition will run for four weeks, starting at 8:00 AM on September 9, 2024, and ending at 8:00 AM on October 7, 2024.

The competition content focuses on regulations related to the Land Law, the Law on Consumer Rights Protection, and the 2023 Identity Card Law... These are important draft laws that impact all aspects of life.
In her opening remarks at the ceremony, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang, Director of the Department of Justice and Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, expressed her hope that this would be a widespread political activity, organized and implemented throughout the province, with the participation of all officials, civil servants, employees in all agencies and units; and students at universities, colleges, and vocational schools located in the area. From there, it would create a widespread impact, fostering an awareness among all people and all segments of society to "live and work in accordance with the Constitution and the law."

Also this afternoon, the Department of Justice organized a training conference on communication skills for policies with a significant social impact during the process of drafting legal documents.
At the conference, speakers were guided on several in-depth skills in developing policy communication plans and policy communication skills on mass media and social networks; how to receive and process information and feedback on draft policies, and how to respond to feedback.

Delegates were provided with the necessary information and skills to effectively carry out policy communication and legal education activities, ensuring early communication, right from the proposal stage for drafting legal documents.
The delegates also exchanged, discussed, and shared the difficulties and obstacles encountered in implementing tasks at the local level.
