Launching Vietnam Online Shopping Day 2014

This shopping day will take place on the first Friday of December, which is December 5th.

This afternoon (December 1), the Department of E-commerce and Information Technology (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Vietnam E-commerce Association organized the launching ceremony of Online Shopping Day 2014. The activity will take place on the first Friday of December, which is December 5.

On this day, the incentives apply to all purchases taking place on websites participating in the Program within the territory of Vietnam from 0:00 to 24:00. Businesses register with the Organizing Committee at the website: www.OnlineFriday.vn. The goal of Online Shopping Day is to attract a large number of individuals, businesses and organizations, thereby promoting the trend of online shopping, contributing to expanding the e-commerce market in Vietnam.

Delivery businesses have more opportunities to exchange and connect with online sales partners to improve the quality of delivery services in e-commerce. Especially, customers will receive free delivery.

Up to now, 800 businesses have registered to participate in the Program. Participating products are diverse, including goods and services, digital products. Most businesses have introduced attractive discount and promotion policies to attract a large number of consumers./.
