Launching the emulation movement "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 8, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province held a ceremony to launch the emulation campaign "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

The content and targets of the emulation campaign focus on: propaganda, education, building the highest will and responsibility, performing tasks with the highest quality, democracy, good solidarity, strictly following discipline and participating in activities to repay gratitude most effectively.

Promoting the tradition of the unit twice the hero of the People's Armed Forces, departments, offices and units in Nghe An Border Guard focus on educating revolutionary traditions, traditions of the army, of the Border Guard and the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers; making officers and soldiers in the whole unit deeply aware of the glorious traditions of the Army and Border Guard, have determination and high responsibility in performing tasks, contributing much effort, intelligence and talent to the cause of building and protecting the sovereignty and security of the border, associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example and the campaign to promote the tradition of dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard on the two border lines proposed practical emulation contents suitable for each unit, focusing on breakthroughs in the main goals such as completing the remaining goals and tasks of 2014, improving the quality and effectiveness of political tasks and unit building, advising and helping people in the border areas to develop the economy, culture, society, strengthen national defense and security, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's borders.

*On this occasion, the Dien Chau District Military Command launched a competition movement with the theme: "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the district's armed forces.

Through the launching ceremony, representatives of the Military Command of 39/39 communes and towns, 21 self-defense units signed the emulation agreement and promised to be determined to successfully implement the practical emulation contents and targets to achieve the highest achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
