(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 12, in Le Mao ward - Vinh city, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a launching ceremony for the use of energy economically and efficiently. Attending were comrade Phan Thanh Tinh - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and leaders of relevant levels and sectors along with a large number of people in Le Mao ward.

The purpose of the campaign is to promote and mobilize people to use energy economically and efficiently, thereby changing people's habits in using energy, increasing the use of energy-saving electrical equipment. Through the launch ceremony, it contributes to ensuring national energy security; Creating a shift from awareness to specific actions to implement solutions for economical and efficient use of energy in the community... Responding to the energy saving movement, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting, Vinh City People's Committee, Vinh City Electricity selected 100 households in Le Mao ward to implement the energy saving model. After 2 months of implementation, the families saved 2,320 kWh, of which nearly 20% of families saved 10% of electricity.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade praised the energy saving models of Le Mao ward and suggested that in the coming time, these models should be replicated, and at the same time, a program to use energy economically and effectively in Vinh city should be launched.
