Launching contest to create unique souvenir products of Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a launching ceremony for a contest to create souvenir products typical of Nghe An.

Implementing the Nghe An tourism promotion program until 2015; The project to build the brand of Nghe An tourism enterprises has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee, aiming to diversify products and services for tourists, preserve and develop traditional craft villages, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda, promotion and tourism promotion of the province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a contest to create souvenir products typical of Nghe An.

The Organizing Committee will receive entries from the launch date to May 15, 2013 at Nghe An Tourism Promotion Information Center (No. 6, Dao Tan, Vinh City); announce results in the third quarter of 2013. Contestants: All artisans, painters, designers, sculptors, establishments, businesses, and craft villages that produce and design souvenirs. Product materials: encourage the use of environmentally friendly materials. Products must not be identical or similar to souvenirs in other localities and must be imbued with Nghe An's cultural identity.
