Issuing a set of stamps to celebrate the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam

On the morning of January 18, the Ministry of Information and Communications and Vietnam Post Corporation held a special issuance ceremony of the stamp set "Welcoming the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam".

The 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a major political event for the country. The Congress sets out the vision, guidelines, and resolutions to lead our people and our country in the process of innovation, integration, and development.

To celebrate the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Information and Communications and Vietnam Post Corporation organized a special issuance ceremony of the stamp set "Welcoming the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam."

The stamp set includes 1 stamp designed by artist To Minh Trang (Vietnam Post Corporation) with a stamp size of 32x43 mm, face value of 3000 VND. The stamp is printed at the Post Office Stamp Printing One Member Co., Ltd. using offset printing method. The stamp set is available on the public postal network from January 18, 2016 to December 31, 2017.

The main image on the stamp is the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - Founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam, realistically sketched in classical style. Through the art of sketching, the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh on the stamp has shown the spirit, personality, intelligence and ideology of the genius leader of the Party and people of Vietnam, Hero of national liberation, World cultural celebrity.

The image of the Party flag flying on the XII with a brocade pattern background represents the spirit of national solidarity and the people's firm belief in the Communist Party of Vietnam; at the same time, affirms the great responsibility of the Party before the people and the country.

In addition, the stamp also shows the harmony of two precious flowers symbolizing Spring, peach blossom and apricot blossom, aiming at the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, celebrating the Country./.
