Chinese bra found containing “strange drug package”
On the morning of October 26, Ms. Oanh was shocked to discover that her bra contained 2 packets of liquid solution along with 6 white “strange pills”. The packet of solution broke open and stuck to her hand, causing an itchy and uncomfortable feeling.
Ms. Huynh Thi Oanh, 39 years old, from Tam An commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam, who sells green vegetables at Tam Ky Commercial Market, Quang Nam, said: “A month ago, I bought a Chinese bra at Diem Shop in this market for 35,000 VND. After wearing it for a month, I didn't pay any attention to it, but this morning I felt discomfort in my chest area, so I touched it with my hand and saw some particles stuck between the two foam pads of the bra. I immediately took off the bra, used a small knife to make 2 cuts and saw 2 white liquid packets. Then I saw 6 white "pills" in these 2 liquid packets, which made me shiver!”
According to Ms. Oanh, since wearing this Chinese brand bra, she feels tightness in her chest at night.

Mr. Le Can, Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Market Management Department, said he was extremely surprised and had never seen anything similar before. According to Mr. Can, the shirt Ms. Oanh bought was of unknown origin and smuggled, because the product did not have a Vietnamese sub-label.
Immediately after that, Mr. Can directed Market Management Team No. 1 to inspect Diem Shop at Lot 23B Tam Ky Trade Center, owned by Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Diem (born in 1970, residing in Tam Ky City). The results showed that this shop was selling Chinese bras similar to the type that Ms. Oanh bought.

The market management team made a record of temporarily confiscating all 35 bras suspected of containing strange chemicals. After careful inspection, it was discovered that 17/35 Chinese bras contained white liquid packets and pills similar to the type that Ms. Oanh discovered.
Ms. Diem confessed to buying the above goods at Nhan Ngan Shop at kiosk 3 of Da Nang Commercial Center.
