Detecting large-scale counterfeit sugar, MSG, cooking oil... facilities

On June 19, Thu Dau Mot City Police said they are focusing on clarifying the volume of counterfeit goods such as refined sugar, MSG, cooking oil, etc. discovered from a production facility in this city.

On June 17 and 18, police discovered a huge amount of counterfeit goods amounting to tons at the production facility at 278 Tran Ngoc Len (Ward 3, Dinh Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City).

Many famous branded goods are counterfeited by this facility such as: Bien Hoa sugar, Tuong An cooking oil, Ajinomoto MSG, Saigon toilet paper...
At the scene, the interdisciplinary team discovered two machines used to package products, hundreds of unused packages, tons of fake sugar and cooking oil, etc. The investigation agency determined that although the packaging of the goods bore the Bien Hoa sugar brand, the sugar inside was fake.

Thu Dau Mot City Police confiscated the exhibits to continue investigating the case.
