Discovery of "technology" for growing marijuana indoors in Hai Phong
To grow marijuana in the rooms, Nam redesigned the house he was living in. The doors were closed, and many high-power light bulbs were hung throughout the rooms. This was the “technology” for growing “weed” that he learned from abroad and brought back to Hai Phong.

On the morning of March 20, Le Chan District Police announced that they had just broken up a case of illegal drug trafficking, in which the subjects had grown marijuana right in a house in Hai Phong city to supply this "goods".
Through the work of managing the area and information provided by the secret network, Le Chan District Police discovered that Do Hai Nam, born in 1976 at 4/22/22 Mieu Hai Xa, Du Hang Ward, Le Chan District, had many unusual signs. Nam left his wife and has been living alone in a 4-storey house at the above address for a long time. He lives a closed life, has little contact with neighbors, and especially all the windows and main doors of his house are always tightly closed. Although he lives alone, Nam's electricity consumption is always unusually high.
Identifying Nam as the one who specializes in supplying and consuming drugs to addicts, Le Chan District Police established Project 414M to investigate and clarify.
At 6 p.m. on March 19, when Do Hai Nam and his accomplices were found to be drug dealers, the Le Chan District Police task force inspected his house. There, the police discovered that Do Hai Nam and Nguyen Phi Truong, born in 1974 at 2/242 Ha Ly, Hong Bang District (Hai Phong), were showing signs of drug trafficking.

Conducting an emergency search of Nam's residence, the police force seized 8 plastic bags of "ice" drugs weighing about 5 grams; 23 marijuana plants (16 plants 80 to 90 cm high; 7 plants 12-13 cm high); 1 box containing dried marijuana, 1 plastic bag containing marijuana seeds, 1 plastic bag containing fresh marijuana leaves and a number of marijuana cigarettes and dried marijuana branches. In addition, the police force also seized 1 electronic scale, tools for using ice drugs, items for drying and packaging marijuana, and 3 iron tubes.

The police discovered that on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house, Nam had set up a closed area for packaging and processing marijuana. He turned many rooms into marijuana growing areas with dozens of pots, where he used many high-pressure lamps to provide light for the plants to grow.
At the police station, Nam confessed that he picked up cannabis seeds at a nightclub, brought them home, and learned how to grow cannabis online from abroad. However, the police determined that Nam's statement was not truthful. Picking up cannabis seeds was absurd. Moreover, growing cannabis with modern, complex "technology" so that this plant can bloom like Nam did is very difficult.
Currently, Le Chan District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
