FDI company (Hanoi) discovered producing fake motorcycle components
The Hanoi Police Department of Economic Security - Market Management Department has just discovered Luyen Luan Hung Company Limited (100% Taiwanese capital), headquartered in Thanh Oai Industrial Park, specializing in manufacturing fake motorcycle parts bearing the trademarks of famous Japanese car brands.
According to the business registration certificate, Luyen Luan Hung Company (100% capital of Taiwan - China) is only allowed to produce motorcycle components including: Pistons, rings and cylinders of Chen Sheng brand. However, when conducting a surprise inspection, the authorities discovered that this company mainly produces fake rings and pistons of famous Japanese brands that have been exclusively protected in Vietnam such as: NPR of Nippon, ART of ART.RIKE Metal.
The entire process of producing fake motorcycle parts here is organized in a closed system on a large scale, from the production stage to the packaging stage. At the scene, a large amount of fake packaging and warranty stamps were discovered.
Major Nguyen Ngoc Ly, Hanoi Police Economic Security Department, affirmed: “This is a dangerous act that has caused a lot of anger among the people, taking place right in the middle of Hanoi capital for a long time, on a very large scale, very professional production. After having specific counting results, we will report to superiors to continue investigating and strictly handling.”
At the same time of inspection, the authorities also discovered and detained a car of this company transporting more than 4,000 sets of fake pistons and rings for sale in Hoa Binh and Son La provinces.
The counting is currently underway, but it is estimated that there are tens of thousands of fake motorcycle parts in stock that the company has not yet sold. The authorities said they will quickly complete the file to issue a decision to prosecute the company.
