On June 25, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police Department announced that it had dismantled a network that organized illegal border crossings.

Previously, at 7:00 p.m. on June 24, at Ben Dinh River (Ward 5, Vung Tau City), the Waterway Police Department coordinated with Vung Tau City Police, along with professional departments and the Provincial Border Guard force to catch Nguyen Van Kinh (46 years old, from Nghe An) and Nguyen Ngoc Loi (52 years old, from Can Tho City) red-handed while organizing 25 people to illegally exit to Australia.

Through investigation, Kinh confessed that he and a man named Tuong (whereabouts unknown) organized the illegal exit of the above people.Australiawith prices ranging from $11,000 to $14,000 per person.

After collecting money from many people, Kinh and Tuong bought the fishing boat BT.93700.TS and hired Loi for 250,000,000 VND to operate it and take people across.Australia. When the fishing boat BT.93700.TS with the 25 people mentioned above had just left the port, it was arrested by the authorities.

The case has been transferred to the Provincial Police Department of Security Investigation for further investigation and clarification according to authority.
