Planet discovered shaking violently in space

NASA scientists were surprised to discover an unknown planet in space.

The US space agency NASA said that the planet Kepler-413b does not move in a fixed orbit. It constantly moves up, down or wobbles due to the influence of two orange and red dwarf stars. However, this planet can still rotate on its own axis.

Kepler-413b is located in the Cygnus star system, 2,300 light-years from Earth. “Everything vibrates, but what happens on this planet is much more violent,” said a spokesman for the Space Telescope Science Institute, based in Baltimore, Maryland. “If our universe were to vibrate like that, everything would be a mess.”

Meanwhile, Jonathan McDowell, a researcher at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said: “This is the first wobbly planet we’ve found. A few other planets wobble a little bit, but they’re nothing compared to Kepler-413b.”

In addition, the planet's axis tilts up to 30 degrees, causing huge changes in temperature and climate. "Imagine the Earth's axis tilting like Kepler-413b's, we wouldn't know whether to wear shorts or a thick coat when going out," said a NASA spokesperson.

Although Kepler-413b is quite unique, scientists have ruled out the possibility of life existing on this planet. It is close to its host star, so the surface of Kepler-413b is too hot for water to exist in liquid form.
