Warehouse containing more than 200 'laughing gas' cylinders discovered
On April 3, the Working Group of the Economic and Position Crime Investigation Team in coordination with the Drug Crime Investigation Team, Ha Long City Police and Cao Xanh Ward Police (Quang Ninh) inspected a warehouse at Group 52C, Area 4B, Cao Xanh Ward containing more than 200 N2O gas cylinders.
Authorities discovered Bui Van Nam, born in 1996, residing in Me Son area, Xuan Son ward, Dong Trieu town (Quang Ninh) carrying a round, blue metal cylinder of compressed gas suspected to contain N2O gas from inside a nearby warehouse.
Checking inside the car with license plate 34D-015.97, the authorities discovered 10 more cylindrical metal compressed gas cylinders with the above characteristics.

At the time of inspection, Nam could not present invoices or documents related to these compressed gas cylinders. This subject confessed that these metal compressed gas cylinders were "laughing gas" (N2O gas). Based on Nam's statement, the authorities inspected the warehouse and residence of the subject at group 52C, area 4B, Cao Xanh ward and discovered 210 other metal compressed gas cylinders suspected to be N2O gas in the area behind the house.
Authorities have temporarily seized 221 metal cylinders containing compressed gas.
Previously, on March 31, Ha Long City Police also discovered and seized 27 N2O gas cylinders at the boarding house of Hoang Van Hai, born in 1993, in group 16, area 4B, Hung Thang ward, Ha Long city.
