Man found hanging himself
(Baonghean) - At 1:00 p.m. today, December 16, some people herding cows in the area of the old secondary school in Lac Son commune, Do Luong district (Nghe An) discovered a man dead in a hanging position.
Upon receiving the news, Do Luong district police arrived at the scene. The victim was identified as Mr. Dinh Van Nam (born in 1958, residing in Hamlet 5, Lac Son Commune, Do Luong). Mr. Nam is currently the Vice Chairman of the Lac Son Commune Fatherland Front Committee and Head of the Commune Radio Station.
At the scene, Mr. Nam was found hanging, next to a ladder in an abandoned school. People living around Mr. Nam's family said that Mr. Nam was a sociable and simple person with his neighbors. In recent days, Mr. Nam had shown some unusual signs such as sadness and depression. Mr. Nam's family has 2 children who are both grown up and working far away.
Mr. Phan Cong Hien (Hamlet 7, Lac Son Commune) said: At around 8am, Mr. Nam borrowed a ladder from me, saying he was going to fix the electric wire, but unexpectedly he came here and hanged himself. Ms. Truong Thi Tuyet - Chairman of Lac Son Commune People's Committee said: Mr. Nam is an energetic and enthusiastic cadre, trusted and respected by everyone.
The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
