Large quantity of growth stimulant for pigs discovered in Dong Nai

On March 10, Dong Nai Market Management Department inspected and discovered at Thien Huong Phat Agricultural Services Limited Company (located in Tan Thanh Hamlet, Thanh Binh Commune, Trang Bom District) more than 220 kg of lean meat stimulant for pigs.

At the time of the surprise inspection, the authorities discovered 108kg of lean meat-producing substances packaged in 1kg and 5kg packages. The banned substances were labeled as “Super Weight 02 and Bcomplex - C”.

In addition, the authorities also discovered more than 120kg of raw materials used as lean meat additives in pig farming. These raw materials had no labels.

Using products from pigs using these stimulants will affect human health.

The above substances are all banned in livestock farming. When using these substances, pigs will gain weight quickly, have larger buttocks and shoulders, stimulate appetite, have rosy skin, increase nutrient absorption, stimulate appetite and increase fertility in pigs.
