A large quantity of illegal fireworks and violent toys were discovered on a passenger bus.

(Baonghean.vn) -At 2:00 p.m. on January 16, Nghe An Province Traffic Police discovered and arrested a long-distance passenger bus transporting a large quantity of flares, guns, arrows, and violent children's toys.

The goods were transported to the vehicle and handed over to Dien Chau police.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police Team of Dien Chau Traffic Police under PC 67 Nghe An led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Son (deputy team leader, team leader) along with 3 officers and soldiers Pham Duc Tam, Tran Ngoc Thanh, Le Thao Nguyen were on patrol duty to control traffic at km 418, National Highway 1A in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district when they discovered that the sleeper bus with license plate 29B 04346 (traveling from Hanoi to Vinh) was suspicious, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection. Upon inspection, they discovered 9 boxes of flares (about 120 kg), 2 boxes of electric guns (about 150 guns), 2 boxes of water guns (about 390 guns) and 1 box of bows and arrows (about 100 guns).

All of the above goods were manufactured abroad, of unknown origin and without documents. The traffic police force made a record, temporarily detained the driver and goods, and handed them over to the Dien Chau district police for handling. Initially, driver Nguyen Van Tung (born in 1973, residing in Phu Thinh ward, Son Tay town, Hanoi) declared that he was transporting consigned goods for a consignee to Da Nang city, but his identity is unknown.
