Man's body found on the banks of the Wujiang River

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 31st, according to information from the Khánh Thành commune authorities in Yên Thành district, a body was discovered lying face down on the riverbank.

The incident was discovered by local residents at around 10 PM on October 30th at the Vu Giang riverbank in Phu An hamlet, Khanh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province).

The victim has been identified as Pham Cong Chuong (56 years old, residing in Hamlet 4, Lien Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District).

According to Mr. Tran Xuan Huong, Head of Lien Thanh Commune Police, "It is possible that because the victim was riding a bicycle in the dark, he veered off the road and hit his head on the riverbank, leading to his death."

At 11 PM the same day, the police of Yen Thanh district arrived to examine the scene, and the body was handed over to the family for burial in their hometown.
