Female body found floating in Mai Giang river

(Baonghean.vn) -At 11:30 a.m. on September 26, at Quynh Nghia bridge area (in Tan An hamlet, An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An), while fishing, people discovered a dead body floating on Mai Giang river.



According to Mr. Nguyen Van Toan (the person who pulled the victim to shore), the body drifted to and got stuck in his oyster raft. Mr. Toan pulled the victim to shore and promptly reported to the An Hoa commune police. Upon receiving the news, the An Hoa commune police and the Quynh Luu district police were present at the scene to investigate, and at the same time announced on the loudspeakers of the communes and districts so that the victim's family could know.

At 3:40 p.m. this afternoon, September 26, the victim's relatives came to identify her and said: the victim is Hoang Thi Phuong, 32 years old, living in hamlet 2, Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An, currently unmarried and living with her 60-year-old parents, graduated from Vinh University, majoring in English, unemployed, and currently at home. Last night (September 25), Ms. Phuong was still at home, but this morning she was nowhere to be found and her tragic death occurred.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the police of Quynh Luu district.
