(Baonghean.vn) - The Hung Dong commune government and the Vinh city environmental police team have just handled a case of toxic gas emissions causing damage to farmers' crops.

At 5:00 p.m. on March 17, 2015, the local people reported that Pham Quang Vinh, born in 1971 and residing in Trung Thuan hamlet, Hung Dong commune, had let people discharge compressed gas cylinders into the field behind Hung Dong Kindergarten, causing damage to 4,000 square meters of spring rice and crops. Some of the vegetable areas in the greenhouse also had their leaves burned. Some people working in the fields downwind felt chest tightness and difficulty breathing when inhaling the exhaust gas.
