(Baonghean.vn) - Authorities have just discovered a truck driver transporting 30,000 products including candy, sausages, chicken wings, chicken feet and red apples of unknown origin.
According to initial information, on the morning of September 18, at Km433+70m on National Highway 1A in Dien Chau district, the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment, in coordination with the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police), requested to stop and inspect a tractor-trailer with license plate 50H-114.90 pulling a trailer with license plate 51R-236.64 driven by Pham Anh Quang (born in 1991), residing in Cat Tai commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province, traveling from Lao Cai province to Ho Chi Minh city.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was transporting 657 boxes of candy, 42 boxes of sausages, 11 boxes of chicken wings, 06 boxes of chicken feet, and 186 packages of foreign-branded red apples, with a total value of about 400 million VND.
At the time of inspection, the driver could not present documents proving the origin of the goods.

Currently, the Police Department investigating crimes of corruption, economy, smuggling, and environment has handed over all exhibits and means of violation to the Nghe An Market Management Department for handling according to the provisions of law./.
