Illegal gun and bullet manufacturing factory discovered

From handling the illegal arrest case, Quang Ninh police discovered a gun and ammunition manufacturing workshop of Cao Dang Suu in Ha Long city.

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and the Protection and Mobile Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police, have just coordinated to inspect and discover an illegal gun and bullet manufacturing workshop in Ha Long city.

Quang Ninh Provincial Police said that at 7:40 p.m. on September 30, the Drug Police and the Mobile Police of Quang Ninh Provincial Police coordinated to inspect and arrest Cao Dang Suu (also known as Lam Meo), born in 1973, residing at Group 33, Area 4A, Ha Phong Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh for illegally detaining Pham Khanh Vu, born in 1981, residing in Cam Trung Ward, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province.

At Suu's private home, based on the documents obtained about the subject, the joint force of Quang Ninh Provincial Police searched and discovered his gun and mine production area.

Confiscated items included 10 homemade guns of various types and a large number of gun butts, 21 homemade mines, 36 bullets of various types, many blanks for designing homemade pistols, and machinery and equipment for manufacturing guns and bullets.

At the same time, the police force also expanded the investigation and temporarily detained the related subject, Bui Van Trang, born in 1985, residing in group 34, area 4A, Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh.

Initially, Cao Dang Suu confessed that he regularly used crystal meth and every time he was high, he had a hobby of making all kinds of guns.

The case is currently being further investigated by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Quang Ninh Provincial Police.
