The C333 Youth Volunteer Brigade of Nghe An was established on May 13, 1965, initially comprising 130 comrades, mainly from Nam Dan district. During the fierce years of war, Cau Cam (in Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district) was a crucial transportation hub, so the US imperialists sought to destroy it at all costs. Many heroic sacrifices took place here, contributing to the glorious history of the Nghe An Youth Volunteer Brigade, most notably the 33 officers and soldiers of Team 69 and Team 65 who bravely sacrificed their lives on the evening of February 5, 1965.

At the seminar, delegates and former Youth Volunteers commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation, thereby arousing patriotism and further strengthening efforts to promote education on traditions, ethics, revolutionary ideals, patriotism, and national pride for today's young generation.
