Promoting the role of the People's Inspection Committee and Community Supervision Committee in implementing grassroots democracy regulations

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, January 18, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations held a conference to summarize the work of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations in 2012 and deploy tasks in 2013.

In 2012, the work on grassroots democracy regulations continued to receive attention and direction from Party committees and authorities at all levels. In particular, during the year, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued the "Regulations on Dialogue with the People" and 480/480 communes, wards and towns organized to listen to and give opinions on the content of the grassroots democracy regulations, a new feature implemented in 2012. The development and promulgation of internal regulations and regulations received attention and direction from Party committees and authorities. Up to now, 100% of Party committees, authorities, state agencies and state-owned enterprises have a set of regulations. The implementation of the grassroots regulations is increasingly more specific and clear in all types of communes, administrative agencies, and enterprises, with attention paid to creating conditions for people, civil servants, and workers to participate in discussing related issues, contributing to encouraging and motivating people to successfully implement the province's socio-economic, defense, and security goals and tasks in 2012.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai highly appreciated the attention of all levels, sectors, agencies and enterprises to the work of grassroots democracy regulations in the past year. He also requested the Steering Committee for the implementation of grassroots regulations at all levels to review the contents of the people's rights to know, to discuss and to be inspected to focus on propaganda and publicity among the people. Pay attention to perfecting the apparatus of cadres and organizations to implement the tasks of grassroots democracy regulations. Immediately overcome the administrativeization and passivity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations, enhance the capacity of criticism and inspection and supervision of State agencies. Have solutions to promote the role of the People's Inspection Committee, Community Supervision Committee, etc.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 36 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in 2012.
