Promoting the role of Youth Volunteer Force teams

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 12, the Provincial Youth Volunteer Force Command organized a review of the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of 2016.

In the first 6 months of 2016, the Youth Volunteer Force of Nghe An province has completed many set targets and tasks, gradually innovated to improve operational efficiency, and continued to promote the role of the Youth Volunteer Force in the current period.

Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Commander of Nghe An Youth Volunteer Force evaluated the results of activities in the first 6 months of 2016.

Regarding production and business results: tea trees are invested in production, processing and market search. Estimated total tea output is 3,695 tons, 10 hectares newly planted; coordinate with businesses to improve processing quality, improve designs, and build the Nghe An Youth Volunteer Tea brand.

The sugarcane area of ​​the teams reached 420.3 hectares, with an output of more than 11,551.5 tons.

Representatives of the Youth Volunteer Force Teams discussed solutions to achieve the set goals.

From the beginning of the year, the Youth Volunteers actively coordinated with related units to review the current land status, register targets and plan for forest planting, care and protection. Well organized planting, zoning, protection and care of 23,718.9 hectares of protective forests, 15,979.4 hectares of production forests, newly planted 267.5 hectares.

Along with that, the Youth Volunteer Teams actively developed livestock farming with a total value of over 451 million VND; processing and service activities were promoted.

Along with production and business activities, security and order in the areas of the teams and border security are maintained.
