(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of January 17, the Party Committee of Nghe An Business Bloc held a conference to review the Party building work in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015. In 2014, despite many difficulties, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee promptly directed the grassroots party committees to coordinate with business leaders to find solutions to overcome them and successfully implement the goals and tasks. Most of the businesses under the Bloc Party Committee stabilized production and business, ensured jobs and income for workers, fully implemented policies and regimes for workers, contributed large revenues to the provincial budget, actively participated in charity activities, and ensured social security.

In 2014, most enterprises in the sector maintained stable operations, total revenue of the sector reached 28,055 billion VND, up 6.8% compared to 2013, paid to the state budget 1,199,096 billion VND, up 7.5% compared to 2013; average income of employees ranged from 2.2 - 11 million VND/person/month.

In the work of Party building, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee focused on directing Party committees and enterprises to strengthen political and ideological education, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, closely grasp the situation and ideology of cadres, party members, workers, civil servants and employees; promptly deploy the Party's directives and resolutions according to regulations; promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's moral example... Attention was paid to the work of developing new party members. During the year, 268 outstanding people were admitted to the Party, bringing the total number of party members in the entire Party Committee to 5,078.

The key objectives and tasks for 2015 set forth by the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee are: Actively deploy and guide the grassroots to strictly implement the Party's directives and resolutions; over 80% of the Party grassroots have new Party members; focus on directing and motivating enterprises in the bloc to promote production and business activities to exceed the 2015 plan targets set by the Party Congress and Shareholders' Meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the performance of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in 2015, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee and its subordinate Party cells and committees should focus on drafting documents for the next term Party Congress of the Bloc; strengthen political and ideological education, deploy learning and dissemination of Party resolutions, policies and laws of the State to all cadres, Party members and workers in the Bloc; unite and strive to complete the goals and tasks set by the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee... Focus on leading production and business, developing the business community of Nghe An to increasingly enhance its position and brand, affirming the position and role of the Party organization in the Business Bloc, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province.

At the Conference, authorized by the President, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to two individuals: Comrade Vo Quoc Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An Enterprises Bloc, Luu Duc Trong - Chairman of the Inspection Committee - Party Committee of Nghe An Enterprises Bloc, and awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to Ms. Phan Thi Hoan - Head of the Organization Board of the Party Committee of Nghe An Enterprises Bloc.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 Party cells under the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc that achieved the title of Outstanding Young Pioneer for 5 consecutive years; Mr. Nguyen Van Thao - Party Secretary of Nghe An Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Joint Stock Company achieved the title of Excellent Party Cell Secretary. The Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc.
