Invention of anti-theft supercar
The three young men who invented this car promise that their "super car" will completely end the car theft problem that has long made car owners "boil with anger".
The team of inventors includes Cristóbal Cabello, 22, Andrés Roi Eggers, 23, and Juan José Monsalve, 24, from Chile. The idea of an “unstealable” bicycle originated from one of the three boys, after his beloved bike was stolen. And their solution was to create a frame that can be disassembled and reconnected into a bike lock, all of which takes about 10 seconds.

This very special car lock consists of a long aluminum tube attached to the car frame. When wanting to lock the car, the user just needs to remove this aluminum tube and install it on the frame to lock the car to a tree, lamp post or any fixed location. And the only way to steal this “super car” is to… saw the car body in half.
The inventors said that although they initially received an investment of $100,000 from a state-owned enterprise for research and development of the project, in reality, most of the cost of producing the first car came from a support fund on the Indiegogo page.

Last week, the team was overjoyed when they received an order for the first 300 cars. Soon after, all three boys took a break from school to focus full-time on their anti-theft car project.
To date, the young inventors have sold 197 cars; their customers are mainly Americans, with a small number coming from Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Chile. The group's goal is to conquer the domestic market before moving to the world market.
