Vu Khac Tiep's harmful statement causes Ngoc Trinh to be boycotted

Recently, through his personal page, Vu Khac Tiep expressed his excitement about the race to find the person with the highest number of followers on Instagram in Vietnam between the three potential candidates Son Tung MTP, Chi Pu and Ngoc Trinh. He wrote: "I also really like this race and am waiting to see who has the highest number of Instagram followers in Vietnam."

There would be no controversy if Vu Khac Tiep did not predict that Ngoc Trinh would soon become the "Queen of Instagram Vietnam" with "dream" numbers: "With an increase rate of 10 - 15 thousand/day, I believe that Ngoc Trinh will rise quickly. In 1 - 2 days, Trinh will reach 4.6 million and rise to 2nd place with Chi Pu. At this rate, Ngoc Trinh is very likely to be the champion".

Vu Khac Tiep's statement caused Ngoc Trinh to be implicated.

The "manager's" post received a lot of criticism from the public because he compared Ngoc Trinh with Chi Pu and Son Tung MTP because each of them has a different direction and field of activity. Besides, Son Tung MTP has a huge number of followers thanks to his talent and style in music and fashion. He has never called for or awarded followers on his personal account like the "Queen of Lingerie".

Some people think that Vu Khac Tiep's prediction that Ngoc Trinh will soon "surpass" Son Tung MTP to become "Vietnam's Instagram Queen" is unlikely to happen and that the "manager" is making his "pet" delusional about his own attractiveness. Vu Khac Tiep's controversial statement caused Ngoc Trinh to be implicated. The audience even called on each other to unfollow the "Lingerie Queen's" personal Instagram account.

Under pressure from netizens, Vu Khac Tiep quickly edited his status.

Faced with mixed opinions from netizens, Vu Khac Tiep quickly changed his status to: "At this rate, Ngoc Trinh is very likely to...". But his action still could not calm the anger of netizens.
