Developing cooperative relationship between Nghe An and Shizuoka province - Japan
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of May 7, in Vinh city, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of the Japanese Ruling Party Parliamentarians and the Japanese VIP Company on investment cooperation between Nghe An province and Shizuoka province, Japan.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Yu Ji Yoshikawa - Senator of the Ruling Party of Japan and members of Shizuka province. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches; Southeast Economic Zone.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien informed the working delegation about the socio-economic situation of the province in the past time, and at the same time pointed out the advantages and potentials of the province, especially in terms of mineral resources, transport infrastructure, industrial parks, seaports, airports, tourism services... Currently, Nghe An has 10 countries investing with 22 foreign investment projects, including 4 investment projects from Japan, with a total investment of 4.4 billion USD and ODA projects...
The cooperation between Japan and Nghe An has a tradition, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, the province will organize many practical activities such as: Japanese Cultural Week in Nghe An; Conference to evaluate the results of ODA capital implementation...
At the meeting, Mr. Yu Ji Yoshikawa - Senator of the Japanese Ruling Party and member of Shizuoka province introduced the potential and advantages of Shizuoka province in the fields of agricultural production, industry and machinery manufacturing. At the same time, he assessed that Nghe An and Shizuoka province have many similarities and advantages in cooperation in developing many fields.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized: the province's geographical and resource advantages are very favorable for Japanese enterprises to invest in high-tech projects, and at the same time hoped that in the coming time, Nghe An will have more investment projects from Japan, especially enterprises from Shizuoka province.
At the meeting, the two sides also agreed on a number of plans to promote links and cooperation in the cultural and economic fields between Nghe An and Shizuoka province./.
