Developing clean agricultural products in a sustainable direction

At the meeting, the leaders of the Institute for Rural Agricultural Environment Research introduced closed-loop agricultural-industrial economic complex projects, including concentrated livestock farming, organic vegetable production, and microbial fertilizers, and invited Nghe An to participate in organizing the International Workshop on "Sustainable development and environmental impacts of rural agriculture".

Through the Institute's research, Nghe An has favorable conditions to implement closed agro-industrial economic complex projects and to implement this project, the Institute will support science and technology, coordinate with Korean investors to implement the project in the direction of applying biotechnology in environmental treatment, developing in selected ecological zones to use natural resources reasonably, contributing to creating clean agricultural products in a sustainable direction.

At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the attention and support of the Institute for Rural Agricultural Environment Research for Nghe An and to facilitate the implementation of the agricultural - industrial economic complex project, the province assigned responsibilities to the Departments of Agriculture & Rural Development, Planning & Investment, Natural Resources & Environment to participate in the project implementation and the province agreed in principle to participate in the International Conference on "Sustainable development and environmental impacts of rural agriculture"./.
