Orthopedic surgery for children with motor disabilities
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 17, the Nghe An Province Children's Support Fund organized an orthopedic surgery for children with mobility disabilities by the "Give a Hand" Association.
Nghe An has a high rate of disabled children. In recent years, the province has received many contributions from many organizations and individuals for child care and protection activities. In particular, the Australian "Give a Hand" Association has sponsored and performed humanitarian surgery for nearly 300 children with motor disabilities since 2007; supported the construction of kindergarten clusters for children in disadvantaged areas in Anh Son and Nam Dan districts; and given gifts to hundreds of children in flood-affected areas and children in especially difficult circumstances, worth billions of dong.

During this year's surgery for children with motor disabilities, the Australian "Give a Hand" Association and Dr. Le Duc To - Director of STO Phuong Dong Hospital - Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Provincial Children's Support Fund, organized examinations for about 200 children with motor disabilities and orthopedic surgery for 30 - 50 children.
