Approval of administrative agency civil servant staffing

The total number of civil servants in 2012 of administrative agencies, organizations and representative agencies of Vietnam abroad (not including civil servant staff of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense and commune-level civil servants) is 281,692.

Of which, ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, and the Prime Minister established but not public service units have 111,894 positions.

The People's Council and People's Committee at provincial and district levels have 161,723 positions. The Vietnamese representative agencies abroad have 1,075 positions and the reserve civil servant position is 7,000.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing and promulgation.
