Free exam for candidates taking the 2018 high school exam

Departments of education and training do not collect exam service fees for all candidates taking the National High School Exam from 2018 (including students registering for additional subjects for university and college admission).

National High School Exam: Even if there is a loss, the exam fee will not be increased

Universities hosting the national high school exam clusters all share the same concern about funding issues as they will certainly have to compensate candidates at their clusters. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Vinh Hien affirmed that there will be no increase in exam fees this year.
Adjusting university and college entrance exam fees

In the 2013 enrollment period, the registration fee for university, college and vocational school entrance exams was raised from 50,000 to 60,000 VND/application.

The expected university and college entrance exam fee will be 60 thousand dong.

According to the draft amendment and supplement to the regulations on the collection and use of university, college and vocational school entrance exam fees that the Ministry of Education and Training is currently publishing for comments, the registration fee for university, college and vocational school entrance exams in 2013 may be raised from 50,000 to 60,000 VND/application.
