Proposal to abolish road use fee stamps on car windows
The Ministry of Construction believes that eliminating road toll stamps not only saves administrative costs but is also in line with the digital transformation trend in vehicle management and toll collection.

5 groups of vehicles must pay highway usage fees and how to calculate fees
This is a new regulation in Decree No. 130/2024/ND-CP of the Government just issued. In addition to the 10 exempted subjects, there are 5 groups of subjects that must pay fees when traveling on expressways.
10 subjects are exempted from highway usage fees
Decree No. 130/2024/ND-CP of the Government clearly stipulates 10 subjects exempted from highway toll collection when traveling on highways of which the State represents the owner and directly manages and operates.
Proposed regulations on highway toll collection
The Ministry of Transport is drafting a Decree regulating the collection of tolls for using expressways.
Outstanding policies taking effect in February 2024
Many new policies come into effect such as: new regulations on road tolls; conditions for copying and taking pictures of Vietnamese currency; new regulations on personal documents when traveling by plane.

Nghe An Department of Finance advised the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the People's Council to amend and supplement Resolution No. 93 of the Provincial People's Council to promptly adjust and comply with the new regulations of the Government.
