Specifically, according to the listing of Saigon Jewelry Company, the buying and selling price of gold is at 35.92 - 36.04 million VND/tael. DOJI Group listed the gold price at 35.96 million VND/tael (buy). The selling price is at 36.02 million VND/tael.
The difference between buying and selling gold prices in Hanoi is 60,000 VND/tael and in Ho Chi Minh City is 120,000 VND/tael.
The world gold price has dropped sharply since September 18 last week from 1,224 USD to 1,217 USD/oz. At the end of the week, the spot gold price stood at 1,216 USD/oz on Kitco. Currently, the gold price is at 1,214 USD/oz.
Forecasting gold prices this week, more than 54% of opinions predict that gold prices will continue to decrease, and the specific level will still fall to the 1,200 USD/oz mark, equivalent to about 30 million VND/tael, the reason is that the USD index continues to increase along with expectations of increasing interest rates, causing gold prices to continue to decrease.
