Truong Giang's Tet comedy film reaches 100 billion VND
"Super Silly Superstar" is the fourth Vietnamese film to reach this milestone, after "Let's Wait 2", "I'll Wait for You" and "I'm Not 18".
According to the producer, the film earned 100 billion in revenue after more than three weeks of showing. After some early screenings,Super silly superstarReleased on February 16 (the first day of Tet) and is the most popular movie this season. The movie has the most showings (30% of the total) during Tet at the distribution unit CGV.

Duc Thinh's works attract audiences thanks to their humor, ease of viewing, and the presence of Truong Giang. Director Duc Thinh said the 100 billion figure was beyond his expectations. "I am most satisfied when I see the audience's affection for the film. After this success, I will aim for more socially relevant scripts in 2018. I can also continue to cooperate with Truong Giang," he said.

In the film, Truong Giang plays two twin brothers with different fates. The older brother is a sought-after artist, while the younger brother lives a poor life as a pig farmer. Too tired, the older brother asks his younger brother to act as a stand-in, leading to many ironic situations.
