Documentary "Love between Vietnam and Laos" is highly appreciated
The documentary "Love of Vietnam and Laos" recently broadcast on VTV 5, Vietnam Television, has received positive feedback from many Lao people and overseas Vietnamese in the capital Vientiane.
Speaking after watching the film, Mr. Khampien Sinuornthong, Deputy Governor of Xengkhouang Province, said: “Watching this film, today’s and future generations will remember more about the history and traditions of our two nations, which is a special and priceless relationship. Through this, everyone will be more aware of their duties and responsibilities towards the destiny of each country. In the coming time, each locality and each organization must further promote the responsibility of propagating the history and special relationship of the two Parties and two countries for everyone to understand…”.
The 3-episode documentary uses the technique of reportage combined with historical flashbacks, along with living witnesses, to depict the great victories of the national liberation revolution of the two countries as well as the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
According to Lao experts, the film has a very important and profound meaning in celebrating major holidays in the year of Vietnam - Laos solidarity and friendship.
Mr. Bounchom Vongphet, General Director of Lao National Television, commented: “The film shows us the special friendship between the two peoples of Vietnam and Laos, which is truly reflected through real-life stories. These are vivid images that replace the best comments on the relationship between our two countries, Vietnam and Laos.”./.
