(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 5, the Huu Khuong Secondary School (Tuong Duong) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2017-2018 school year.

Attending the event were comrades Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee; and representatives and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province and district.

In the 2016-2017 school year, Huu Khuong Secondary School, Primary School and Kindergarten had many positive changes. The political security situation in the school was stable; school order and discipline were maintained, and the quality of education was increasingly improved. The school's facilities were invested in and repaired, and teaching equipment was fully equipped, meeting the needs of teaching and learning.

Located in the most disadvantaged commune of Nghe An province, the schools are always active in encouraging students to attend class. The total number of students of school age is 95.16%. At the end of the 2016-2017 school year, the rate of students completing all levels of education reached 100%.

The secondary school completion rate reached 97.36.With the efforts of teachers and students, Huu Khuong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities was recognized as meeting the standards of universal secondary education level 2 in 2016.

The inter-school has full classrooms, functional rooms, administrative rooms, boarding areas, ensuring one room for each class and regularly organizing competitions such as: excellent teachers at school level, Master Elearning writing competition, or coordinating with schools in the regional cluster to organize the professional workshop "Innovation in teaching methods towards developing students' capacity".

With the motto of strong innovation and enhancing practical skills, applying knowledge and skills to solve practical problems, diversifying learning forms. In addition to imparting cultural knowledge, the inter-school also regularly organizes extracurricular activities for students on topics such as "Protecting the sovereignty and security of Vietnam's border territory", "Preventing school drugs", "Students and traffic safety" ...
