Disseminate religious policies and laws to monks, nuns, and Buddhists
(Baonghean.vn) -On July 31 and August 1, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Buddhist Sangha to disseminate policies, laws on religion and regulations of the church to monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee of Nghe An province; Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien - Deputy General Secretary and Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Tien Dat - Standing Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha - Deputy Head of the Legal Department. Representatives of provincial departments and branches, along with a large number of Venerables, Venerables, monks, nuns, and Buddhists.

At the conference, senior monks and lecturers presented 6 topics: Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party and State's policy views on religion; The current situation of Buddhist activities and State management of religious activities in our country; Ordinance on Beliefs and Religions, Decree No. 92 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of the Ordinance on Religious Beliefs and Religions; Charter of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Internal regulations of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Operational regulations of the Provincial and District Executive Committees./.
