At Truong Bon historical relic site, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the Vice President offered incense at the common grave of the Youth Volunteers and at the Memorial House of Heroic Martyrs. Afterwards, Comrade Nguyen Thi Doan and the delegation visited and presented gifts to those with meritorious services in Hung Dao commune (Hung Nguyen) - a locality with 367 policy beneficiaries, 210 wounded and sick soldiers and 198 martyrs.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Comrade Nguyen Thi Doan praised the development of Nghe An province in the renovation process, especially in rural areas. She affirmed that the achievements today are thanks to the previous generations who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones to fight for independence for the country, including the great contribution of the people of Nghe An. In the renovation process, although the country still faces difficulties, the Party and State have always paid attention to and cared for policy beneficiaries, demonstrated through the increasingly perfecting of the policy of gratitude to those with meritorious services.
The Vice President sent his best wishes for health and happiness to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, and relatives of martyrs in Hung Dao commune in particular and Nghe An province in general. He also highly appreciated the province's efforts in ensuring the correct and sufficient payment of benefits to policy beneficiaries, while mobilizing many resources to implement the gratitude policy.
Comrade Ho Duc Phoc affirmed that Nghe An province is determined to improve its policy of gratitude.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that, promoting the achieved results, Nghe An will continue to implement the gratitude policy well, taking better care of policy beneficiaries in the whole province. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary also hopes that the Vice President and the Party and State leaders will continue to support and create conditions for Nghe An to develop strongly in the period of innovation, especially after the Politburo agreed to issue a separate Resolution on Nghe An.

At the end of her working trip to Nghe An, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan also visited and offered incense at the graves of Soviet Nghe Tinh martyrs in Thai Lao (Hung Nguyen)./.
