Comrade Nguyen Thi Doan and the delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the martyrs at the Vinh City Martyrs' Memorial Cemetery, where more than 800 martyrs rest. Next, the Vice President, provincial leaders, and Vinh City leaders visited and presented gifts to mother Dau Thi De, 97 years old, mother of martyr Ho Thanh Le and wife of martyr Ho Nam in block 12, Cua Nam ward; visited and presented gifts to two families of ¼ disabled soldier Truong Van Binh in block 9, Hong Son ward and Mr. Dau Duc Lam in block 2, Hung Binh ward.
Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan kindly visited each person's family situation, work, life, income, health... After learning about the family situation of war invalid Dau Duc Lam, whose eldest son is currently working far away, she requested the provincial and city leaders to help transfer him to work in the city to facilitate the care of his father.
