Reporting to the Vice President, Lo Thi Phuong Lien (Thai ethnic group, Son La province), Do Thi Thuy Huyen (Dao ethnic group, Tuyen Quang province), Phan Thi Hai Yen (Co Tu ethnic group, Quang Nam province), Duong Thanh Nu Yen Nhi (Cham ethnic group, Ninh Thuan province)... reported their excellent academic achievements in the past school years. They all expressed their determination to continue to strive to achieve even better academic results in the following school years, while cultivating and practicing morality to perfect their personalities.
Speaking to the children, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan affirmed that the 47 ethnic minority female students with difficult circumstances who are good students today are precious seeds of the country. Having good academic achievements and receiving Vu A Dinh Fund scholarships is the result of the efforts to cultivate morality and study of each individual as well as the care of the Party, State, family, school, teachers... The good academic achievements of the children are even more commendable because despite the difficult circumstances of their families and hometowns, they have overcome them to study well. The Vice President also praised and welcomed the ethnic minority female students for having dreams, ambitions, and ideals for the future, as well as their kindness and gratitude towards individuals, organizations, and units that have helped them in their studies and lives.
The Vice President hopes that these are only initial encouraging results. In the following school years, students still need to continue to train their will to strive to become useful citizens for society and build their homeland and country to become more and more prosperous.
On this occasion, the Vice President praised the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund for accompanying the Party and State in taking care of students, especially ethnic minority female students with difficult circumstances and good academic performance.
Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund was established in the 1998-1999 school year. Up to now, the Fund has granted more than 40,000 scholarships to students. In addition, the Fund also cooperates with social organizations and domestic and foreign enterprises to carry out in-depth investment projects such as "Opening the way for the future" sponsored by VinaCapital Group, which has granted and will grant scholarships to 100 ethnic female students from grade 10 to university.
