Vice Chairman of the National Assembly visits the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap
On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 24th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on the morning of December 21, a delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee, led by Mr. Huynh Ngoc Son - Member of the Party Central Committee - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, offered incense and visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap, in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.

In a solemn and cozy atmosphere, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Son expressed his respect to the spirit of General Vo Nguyen Giap - the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army, remembering the General's contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of our Party and people.
On this occasion, many delegations of veterans, youth volunteers and a large number of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army also came to offer incense and visit the General's tomb.
