The Prime Minister has just decided to discipline by removing Mr. Ngo Van Tuan from the position of Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term, because he had previously been disciplined by the Party Secretariat.This decision takes effect from January 18.
Previously, on December 17, 2017, the Secretariat decided to remove Mr. Ngo Van Tuan from all Party positions due to "serious, repeated, systematic violations, causing a number of Party organizations and many Party members to violate".
During the review process, Mr. Tuan did not seriously self-criticize and did not sincerely admit his shortcomings and violations.
According to the Central Inspection Commission, from October 2010 to November 2015, in his position as Party Secretary and Director of the Thanh Hoa Department of Construction, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan violated the principle of democratic centralism and violated the regulations of the Party and the State on personnel organization. Specifically, Mr. Tuan intentionally violated the regulations of the Provincial Civil Servant Recruitment Council in 2011; issued a decision to establish the Department of Construction's Cadre and Civil Servants Selection Council without proper authority in order to favor and support in receiving, transferring and appointing Ms. Tran Vu Quynh Anh from a contract worker to a professional civil servant.
In a very short time after that, Mr. Tuan appointed Ms. Quynh Anh as Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department; proposed to plan the position of Deputy Director of the Department and admitted her to the Party, joined the Party Committee of the Department of Construction against regulations...
