(Baonghean.vn) –Today, February 13, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee made a trip to inspect the production situation of the 2012 spring crop in Anh Son, Tan Ky; and inspected the compensation and site clearance work of the rubber tree planting project in Anh Son district. Accompanying him were representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and a number of provincial departments.

Up to now, Tan Ky has planted more than 3,100 ha/3,400 ha of rice, 1,037/1,500 ha of corn and 530/1,000 ha of peanuts. Anh Son district has now planted over 90% of the total over 3,000 ha of spring rice, striving to complete the entire spring rice area by February 15.

Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has recovered nearly 6,900 hectares of land managed by Anh Son Forestry Company to hand over for the rubber planting project. By the end of December 2011, the Land Acquisition Council had paid compensation to 47 households with an area of ​​nearly 750 hectares with the amount of over 7.6 billion VND, however, over 3,200 hectares of land managed by Anh Son Forestry Company have not yet been handed over to the Rubber Company to implement the project. There are still some problems such as: Anh Son Forestry Company deliberately did not liquidate joint venture and association contracts; did not hand over forest protection management stations located in the recovered land area. Assets in the form of crops that have been counted by the Land Acquisition Council have not yet been appraised and approved...

Vice Chairman Dinh Viet Hong highly appreciated the direction of the 2012 spring crop production of the above localities. At the same time, he requested that the localities focus on preventing diseases on crops and livestock. Regarding the site clearance for the rubber tree planting project, the site clearance council was requested to re-count the rubber area before February 29, 2012. He requested Anh Son Forestry Company to promptly hand over forest protection works located on the recovered land area./.
