Forest fire prevention work has generally been implemented synchronously from the district to the commune, village and forest owners. Units have developed specific and detailed fire prevention and fighting plans, and have paid attention to propaganda work, forest fire warning, clearing vegetation, clearing firebreaks, etc. Localities and forest owners have proactively set up checkpoints to check people entering and leaving the forest, and have prepared and strictly implemented the 4 on-site plan in forest fire prevention and fighting.
However, fire prevention and control work in Thanh Chuong and Do Luong districts still has a high potential risk. Some key forests have not yet been equipped with warning signs and no-fire signs; some forest cover areas have not yet been cleared; and firebreaks have not yet been built in the bordering forest areas.

Concluding the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De emphasized that in the current severe hot weather conditions, forest fire prevention and control is an extremely important task. At the same time, he requested localities to effectively implement the approved forest fire prevention and control plans from district, commune and forest owners.
Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the District Steering Committee for forest owners and local authorities at the commune level in implementing the PCCCR plan. Organize, practice, test alarms and review the plans to promptly detect shortcomings and inadequacies in the implementation of PCCCR plans at localities and forest owners for timely supplementation.
Management units strictly control the use of fire in forests and forest edges, strictly prohibit and suspend all activities of processing vegetation and other activities that generate fire sources and heat sources that can cause forest fires during hot weather. In key forests, forest owners, forest rangers, and local authorities must set up checkpoints, have regulations on forest entry and exit, and fire prohibition signs to remind people to comply with regulations on forest fire prevention and control.
The People's Committees of the districts continue to resolutely direct fire prevention and control measures, maintain 24/7 staff on duty at the Fire Prevention and Control Command Offices at all levels, Forest Protection Departments, forest owners and at fire watchtowers; and directly observe forest fires through the camera surveillance system.
