On the occasion of the 104th anniversary of International Women's Day, this morning (March 8), at the Presidential Palace, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan met with a delegation of outstanding female cultural entrepreneurs who are members of the Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Cultural Center (under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

100 female entrepreneurs are owners of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in many fields and industries such as textiles, construction, public health, information technology, etc. Enterprises led by female entrepreneurs have created jobs for thousands of workers, with stable incomes. Notably, they not only overcome many difficulties and prejudices of society to enrich themselves, their families and the country, but also promote the compassion of women, actively participate in charitable activities, connect love, and help children in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan congratulated 100 outstanding female entrepreneurs on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8; affirming that they are the leading birds in keeping the fire of happiness in the family; at the same time, they have excellently fulfilled their tasks, contributed to economic development, and enriched themselves, their families and the country.
The Vice President welcomed female entrepreneurs who have recently carried out many charitable and community activities, but first of all, they need to focus on doing charity work for employees in the companies they manage.
Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan requested that, in the context of international economic integration, each female entrepreneur needs to constantly improve her knowledge, qualifications, management capacity, and self-innovation to meet the requirements in the context of fluctuations in the global economy. In particular, female entrepreneurs must have the courage, promote the dynamism, creativity, and diligence of Vietnamese women to overcome the challenges of the economic crisis; proactively restructure enterprises to overcome difficulties; continue to foster the qualities of female entrepreneurs in the new era, and make more contributions to the overall development of the country./.
