(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the Dragon, this morning, January 16, the Government delegation led by Comrade Hoang Trung Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister visited, presented gifts and New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government, people and armed forces of Nghe An province.

Accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister, on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and leaders of Vinh city.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien Relic Site - Nam Dan District. The delegation then visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to Mrs. Dang Thi A, 93 years old, mother of martyr Phan Duy Mai and the family of 1/4 war invalid Ho Viet Nhan, 81% disabled, infected with toxic chemicals in Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City, visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year at the Mentally Disabled War Invalids Nursing Area in Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District.

He noted that the Party Committee and the Government of Nghe An province need to pay special attention to families of policy beneficiaries and wounded soldiers in the area so that they can celebrate Tet and enjoy spring in a warm and happy atmosphere.
