Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh receives Ambassadors of Cuba and India
On the afternoon of February 14, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh received the Cuban Ambassador and the Indian Ambassador to Vietnam for courtesy visits.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to Vietnam, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the special traditional friendship and cooperation with Cuba, expressing his hope and belief that the Ambassador will actively contribute to the continuous consolidation of political and diplomatic relations, while promoting economic, trade and investment relations to develop commensurate with the good political relations between the two Parties, States and peoples.
Ambassador Herminio López Díaz expressed his honor to be appointed as Ambassador to Vietnam and pledged to continue to inherit, promote and further deepen the special Vietnam - Cuba relationship that has been painstakingly built by many generations of leaders and people of the two countries.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh received Indian Ambassador Preeti Saran for a courtesy visit. At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed Vietnam's consistent policy of always valuing the traditional friendship and strategic partnership with India, and supporting India's Look East Policy.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister hopes that India will continue to make important contributions to maintaining peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
Ambassador Preeti Saran pledged to closely coordinate with relevant Vietnamese agencies to promote bilateral relations on both bilateral and multilateral levels.
