High-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Democratic Republic visited and worked at the Vietnam Dairy Factory.

Working with the Deputy Prime Minister of Laos, Vinamilk's leaders expressed their desire for investment cooperation opportunities in Laos. Although it is a small market, Laos' natural conditions are very suitable for developing raw material areas for milk production, thereby expanding the potential for economic cooperation with many other countries in the region. Therefore, the support of the Lao Government is a premise to facilitate the cooperation and development of businesses of both sides.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the direction of investment cooperation and economic development, especially in the two areas of planning for crop cultivation and dairy farming and investing in the construction of milk factories.

Ms. Bui Thi Huong - Executive Director, representative of the Company's Board of Directors, spoke at the meeting: "Vinamilk's strategy is to always accompany and stick with the people where Vinamilk invests, so that not only the business develops but also helps develop the local economy, improve the quality of life for the people and reduce poverty.

In the coming time, Vinamilk will arrange to conduct a survey and work with ministries and branches in Laos under the direction of the Deputy Prime Minister to promote investment, especially the construction of dairy farms.

Lao Deputy Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone hopes that Vinamilk will urgently consider investing in Laos and said that the Lao Government and people will support and create all conditions for Vinamilk to invest, especially improving the infrastructure where Vinamilk will place the project. The Deputy Prime Minister also said that this will be an important and meaningful project to help develop the economy and society of the Lao people.

The early implementation of the investment plan this year will be even more meaningful as the two countries are organizing activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.

At Vinamilk's Vietnam Dairy Factory, the Lao Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation visited and learned about the factory's capacity and technology. Located on an area of 20 hectares in My Phuoc 2 Industrial Park, Binh Duong, Mega Factory is currently Vinamilk's largest liquid milk factory. The factory has an investment of VND 2,400 billion, with a capacity of 1.2 million liters of milk per day in phase 1 and is currently increasing its capacity for phase 2 to 2.4 million liters per day (equivalent to more than 800 million liters per year).

This is one of the three largest milk factories in the world, designed to meet strict standards of quality management, food safety and hygiene and environmental protection. The entire production process of the factory meets GMP standards and strict international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14000, 22000 and FSSC 22000, in which GMP is a mandatory standard for pharmaceutical factories and is encouraged to be applied to food companies in general.

With the world's leading automation and integration technology, the factory is 100% automatically operated from the input stage to the finished product warehouse. The fully automatic LGV robot system, controlled by a central computer system, is responsible for transferring the sterilized paper rolls to the filling machine and automatically transferring the finished products to the smart warehouse. Thanks to that, the factory can control the quality and production efficiency at the highest level.

In addition to the modernity, scale and automation level of machinery and equipment imported from Europe - America and G7 countries. Vietnam's liquid milk factory also applies green, environmentally friendly solutions, minimizing solid, liquid and gas waste; applying energy-saving lighting technologies; using renewable energy and bio-energy.
